Bet on Selection & Game End

When can I no longer bet on a selection and when does the game end?

Betting will not be permitted on selections for which an outcome is already known. Once the outcome of a selection is known, bets on that selection are settled. Betting may be suspended on a selection where the outcome has not yet been determined.

For example – when the Player has a natural 9, and it is possible for the Banker to get a natural 9, then the Player cannot lose – it is only possible for the Player to Win or Tie. Because stakes for bets on the Player and Banker selections are returned in the event of a Tie, betting on Player and Banker in this example is suspended because it is not possible for a backer of the Player to lose any money (If it is a Win, they win the bet, If it is a Tie, they have their stake returned).

The following is an example of how a game might play out, illustrating the various times when Betting is Open, Closed, Suspended and also when Bets would be settled on various selections.

If no betting selections are open and the game has not been finished (i.e. not all cards have been dealt to Player and Banker according to standard Baccarat Rules), then the remaining cards are shown all at once and the game is completed.
